Edmund Bolt

Edmund Bolt (Stage Director) is directing his twenty-sixth musical for Tennessee Valley Players with Mamma Mia!. Mr. Bolt has been directing musicals for TVP since 2002. He is delighted to be working with Dr. Angela Batey, musical director and newcomer to the TVP artistic family, Jeremy Hall, choreographer. The musical, based on the popular songs of ABBA, is a joyful song and dance experience. The talented cast of forty-eight is performing without amplification or pre-recorded vocals making this Mamma Mia a truly unique experience! Bolt has appeared in Clarence Brown Theatre and other area productions since 1972. He is proud to be one of the founders of TVP in 1980, where he has produced shows, built sets, coordinated props and costumes as well as performed and directed. He considers himself extraordinarily fortunate to be able to share his love of theatre with his wife, Susan, and several generations of his family.
