Tyler Owens
Tyler Owens (Stage Manager) is the director of the Heritage Singers. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music Education from Carson-Newman University and his Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Tennessee. Since graduating Tyler has gone back to his roots in Maryville as choir director at Heritage Middle School for three years, and is currently the choir director at his Alma Mater, Heritage High School. Along with his wife, Rachel, they have set up the Heritage Choir family, which spans from Middle School through High School grades 6-12. They strive to create a sanctuary for students where all are welcome, accepted, and loved. Where students from all backgrounds can come together to make beautiful music and memories. Tyler and Rachel are also Co-Directors of Traditional Worship at Central United Methodist in Lenoir City. He is so excited to be part of creating this production!
