TVP Performs at Knoxville Opera Guild Martini Party
On March 8th, the Tennessee Valley Players will be reprising much of it’s well received Gala program, “A Toast to Broadway (and a Tip of the Hat to Hollywood)” for the Knoxville Opera Guild’s Martini Tasting fundraiser.
This year’s Martini Tasting Party will take place at the newly renovated Southern Depot on Friday, March 8th, at 7:00pm.
South Pacific Auditions!
Auditions for
Rodgers & Hammerstein’s
South Pacific
When: Monday, February 25th 6:00-8:00pm and Monday, March 4th 6:00-8:00pm
Where: Farragut Presbyterian Church
Who: There are parts available for all interested but we especially need men.
What: Bring music with you; be prepared to sing, dance, and do cold reads from script.
About the Production: We anticipate 9 performances over three weekends in June: 7-9, 14-16, 21-23. All performances will be in the Carousel Theatre on the campus of the University of Tennessee. Dr. Angie Batey of the UT School of Music is the musical director. Rehearsal times are yet to be determined pending casting but we anticipate evening rehearsals in the week and afternoon rehearsals on the weekends throughout April and May.
