Bethany Lay
Bethany Lay (Judy) graduated from Maryville College in 2015 with her Bachelor of Arts in Music and Graduated from Tusculum University in 2022 with a Masters in Education. Bethany is currently in her 4th year as the choir and musical theatre director at Central High School and sings as a cantor at Sacred Heart Cathedral. Her past shows include Encore Theatrical’s production of Mary Poppins (Mary Poppins), Knoxville Theater Downtown’s production of The Last Five Years (Cathy Hiatt), and Maryville College’s production of Legally Blonde the musical (Brooke Windam). She would like to thank Dr. Batey and Mr. Smathers for this opportunity and her supportive husband Roman for always encouraging her in her musical pursuits and cooking her dinner after rehearsals. She’s so excited to be a part of her first TVP production and perform with this amazing cast.
